Art Hazelwood Art Hazelwood is one of the more interesting artists we know, and his printing is his real strength (he's no slouch as a painter or muralist, either). We show both his prints and his paintings here, but this link to this San Francisco artist's website will introduce you to the breadth of his art:

![Carol Christie]() |
Carol Christie Carol Christie’s paintings burst off the canvas with explosive strokes of dynamic color and energy. The Atlanta, Georgia, area artist’s work is improvisational and spontaneous, with a strong rhythmic base and a lyrical expressiveness which likely grows from her love of music and early training as a pianist. Fact is, Christie considers music inseparable from her own creative process. “I am an intuitive painter,” says Christie. “Listening to classical music allows me to paint what I feel, rather than thinking of what, and how, to paint. I often feel that I am composing melodies in paint.”

![Cindy Cole]() |
Cindy Cole I usually take pictures or make preliminary sketches and then back in my studio create the complete composition or series of compositions. Typically, I work from natural images, incorporating a unique interpretation of the colors, shapes and perspective. I like to explore with different materials working these into each composition. Many times the final pieces are collages with hand painted paper, photographs, paint, tissue paper, fabric and other interesting objects. These materials are collected as I travel through cities, parks, along beaches and into the woods.

![Cedar Lee]() |
Cedar Lee I work from life, from photographs, and from my imagination, sometimes combining all these things into one image, using elements of both realism and abstraction. My goal is to combine vivid color, light, composition, and content to create sincere, spiritual, lasting images of peace, joy, and dramatic splendor. My art is an exercise in wonder and gratitude. I paint mostly in acrylics because with them I can achieve a large range of colors and effects with a quick drying time. I tend to work rather quickly, which helps me get everything out on the canvas the way I imagine it.

Folk Hero Sandwich This is a link to singer/songwriter Lee Connah's website. He's got some great music, well worth checking out. If you spin his Stonwall's Arm disc backwards you can hear, just barely, the sound of John Cage trying his hand at claw hammer banjo and cursing Earl Scruggs.

Bolton Hill, Baltimore Bolton Hill is Baltimore's finest neighborhood. Having quiet tree-lined streets, close proximity to Downtown, and a top art school, the Maryland Institute College of Art, within its bounds makes Bolton Hill an ideal urban location. This excellent website, run by the somewhat moribund local community association, gives a decent feel for what Bolton Hill has to offer.
